#I love how castle is always really calm and sure when it comes to scenes like this with Beckett #it’s a nice contrast to how he usually is #and I guess people can mistake it as apathy or call him uninvested in the relationship #but I think it’s something different #I think he’s being the anchor #he’s serious about her and this relationship and it shows (via supernerd127)

WHY was it deleted? This scene is so important in the relationship and for Beckett. Winter nailed it

Probably because it’s like a second ending. The original ending, has the body language and the right words for closing that storyline. This scene, as wonderful as it is, is kind of readdressing the same things as the original.
